Easy way to cut many, equal length boards
If you cut many boards of the same length, the constant measuring becomes a chore.
So just make a stop. Measure the first board accurately and record at the desired length. After that (if you are working with a circular saw, for example) place the board under the saw (of course at the mark). Now you can just do the circular saw as far as put it on a wall until the board touches the wall (in this case the wall is the stop (you can of course use any objects as a stop)).
This is the easiest way to avoid constant measurement. Tip: Work really hard on the 1st board. So you avoid consequential errors.
