Economical greasing of the frying pan

Permanent solution for economical greasing of the frying pan: Although I also use non-stick pans, I prefer to add a touch of oil when roasting. Although meat and eggs (brown) also tan well with mineral water, this tip treats the economical frying in oil.

If I put a few drops in the hot pan, the oil is not distributed as desired.

However, in order to fry as low calorie as possible, I have always given a small amount of oil in the pan and then distributed the oil with a sheet household roll in the pan.

As a hand and nail care, the unplanned oil treatment may still make sense, but I have wasted too much oil and paper with this method.

Very easy to find a sponge cloth:

  • cut out a suitably sized piece and
  • Secure with cable tie or rubber ring firmly to the neck of the bottle

By turning the bottle, a small amount of oil flows into the sponge and can be distributed in the pan.

Naturally, the question of food authenticity also arose, but I can not prove that I can answer it ... Personally, I assume that dishwashing and kitchen sponges, as well as sponge cloths, are harmless.

Likewise, I have no hygiene concerns, since I wash my pans thoroughly after each use and not just wipe out. In addition, I use a pan almost every day and the 0.5 liter bottle of oil is quickly used up and is then disposed of completely.
