Here is my tip for making egg chicks for egg plates or for garnishing cheese or sausage slabs or similar.

Depending on how much chicks you want to make, you have to cook 1 egg per chick for about 10 minutes and then chill off cold. Then they are peeled off carefully.


The upper quarter you now cut off with a knife and set this aside.

Very carefully (with an egg spoon or similar) scrape the egg yolk out and put in a small bowl.

With the yolk you prepare your stuffing, as for stuffed eggs.


This mass fills her in the lower half of the egg and puts the upper part as a hat.

Peppercorns as eyes and beak cut from a carrot.

The feet also cut her from a carrot. I took the carrot raw.
