Eggs baked in ash - a delicacy for the grill afternoon

Chicken eggs, baked in ash, are delicious. Ashes are often used for seasoning - it's pure vegetable - and clean. For our next barbecue, we can even look up this idea, for example from the Indians:

The eggs are wrapped in parchment paper, moistened and placed in the embers on the grill and then covered with hot embers. After 10 minutes they are ready and delicious.

Take care when removing, preferably with forceps or a long spoon.

By the way, you can lay the eggs directly in the embers - but if the peel is too thin, they will break. Therefore one is on the safe side with the method parchment paper.

You can spoon the eggs directly from the bowl, or even eat a barbecue sauce.
