eggs hash browns


  • 600 g stale bread, cut into rings
  • 4-5 fresh eggs
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika
  • Oil and 1 tbsp butter
  • You like some milk


  1. Beat the eggs with the spice (as for scrambled eggs), roast the bread well in a frying pan, pour the egg mixture over it, shake well and simmer for 10 minutes on a small fire.
  2. Sprinkle with chives as desired.

In addition salad: a good and inexpensive dinner!

A variant: Cut the apples into pieces and cook with sugar and cinnamon. Instead of the egg mass on the baked bread, stir, done!
