Eggshells - great for germinating seeds

Empty half eggshells are very useful for germinating seeds of flowers and plants. It can be collected all year round, rinsed and stored dry in a paper bag.

Put a little soil in the egg shells, a small hole in the ground to run off water, put the seeds in the ground. The egg shells can be stored in egg cartons.

When the plantlets are sprouting, it is easy to plant them with the entire eggshell. So no small root breaks off, as it could happen if you take the plant out of the pot.

In addition, the egg shell keeps worms and snails away - and is a wonderful fertilizer.
