Embellish nasty buttons
I have two beautiful, good, dark blue cardigans with many buttons. Unfortunately, the buttons have an intrusive "golden inlay" that often does not fit in with other things.
Now I've dabbed - with success - dark nail polish on the gold. The buttons still shimmer a bit. So I do not need to search for new buttons, buy, sew, which would be very annoying.
Should something peel off over time, I can easily improve. Or I change to car paint pen. Now comes a small metal picture frame on it, the sight bothers me.
