Fall asleep: hot nights? Cooling element / gel cushion helps

When falling asleep is difficult, I take a cooling element (gel pad), put it in a washing glove and take it to bed.

There I push both hands on the sides, until they are nice and cold and I stroke my arms. Then I lie down on my side and put it on my carotid artery. This cools the body and makes the night more comfortable. Of course, the thing slipping while sleeping, but you do not realize that, because you have previously, pleasantly cooled, fallen asleep.
