Fast batter for pie crust

If you need a cake tray quickly, this sponge cake recipe is suitable for you: It works super fast and always works! Should you suddenly receive a visit, the tart will be ready in less than an hour.

Ingredients (for 1 cake base)

  • 3 eggs
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pck vanillin sugar
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 6 tablespoons of flour (eg wheat flour type 550 or spelled flour
  • 1/2 pck of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt


  1. Beat eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and oil in a bowl until frothy. Mix flour, baking powder and a small pinch of salt, sift and fold. Christel simply takes a whisk.
  2. Place in a greased, steamed springform or fruit-pan mold and bake at 160 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  3. Make a stick sample.
