Fast spread with trout fillet

We like to eat smoked trout fillet (fresh or from the store) and of course there must be horseradish on top and on top of that onions.
Of course, when you bite, you always fall down a bit, unless you eat the bread with a knife and fork. That's when I came up with the solution.

Take for this spread, for 2 people:

2 smoked trout fillets, 1 tbsp horseradish from the jar, if you really want it hot, you can rub the horseradish fresh, too
a little salt, some white pepper, 1 small onion.


Place the ingredients in a tall container and work with the hand blender until a smooth mass is obtained.

Then put the treat in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for about 10 minutes.

It tastes best on wholemeal bread. We also refrain from butter or similar. Thus, that is still a healthy meal
and saturates.


If you like it very delicate, you can still cranberry jam on it, or even mix 1 teaspoon with the ingredients.

Arrives well on a visit, because you can eat it well and have a hand for a glass of beer or whatever you like.

The whole thing goes well with smoked salmon. There are the same ingredients.
