Fast steamed dumplings with crackers and bread rolls and sauerkraut

Cooking or baking time: 45 min.
Total preparation time: 55 min.

This simple recipe is very popular with me and my family. If you fancy steamed dumplings and do not want to be in the kitchen for as long as this recipe is perfect.

ingredients

  • 1 can of sauerkraut
  • 1 Pck. Knack & Back Sunday Bun
  • Butter to taste ca.125 g

preparation

  1. Squeeze the sauerkraut well and place in a steamer. Add half of the butter and top up the sauerkraut with water until well covered.
  2. Unpack the rolls and leave them for a while. Then dip in a little oil and place on the sauerkraut or in the steamer insert. If you do not have a steamer, you can cook it in a well-sealed pot.
  3. The pot or steamer must not be opened. After 45 minutes on medium heat, the dish is ready.
  4. Brown the rest of the butter and distribute it on the dumplings.
