Fennel salad for fennel haters

4 fennel tubers
1 onion
1 apple (sour)
1 lemon (juice of it)
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tbsp mustard
1 tsp salt
Bit of pepper

Clean fennel tubers and plan very finely. Then comes the trick: 1 teaspoon salt over the fennel. Now knead the fennel with your hands until it draws water. Mix mayonaise, lemon juice and mustard and season to taste with pepper. Cut the onion and apple into quarters and also slice into the salad.

The salad tastes really delicious. So far nobody has guessed that it is fennel. It tastes best when it pervades for two or three hours. He usually does not get that old with me.

I am not sure if this recipe already exists here. It's definitely worth a try. You will be surprised. But do not forget the kneading of the fennel and the salt. That makes the salad so delicious.
