Fettkraut against fruit flies
A good option against fruit flies is the butterwort (pinguicula). This carnivorous plant lures and catches fruit flies with its sticky leaves. It is even better suited than the sundew, which has also been named. It also looks very attractive thanks to its numerous, violet-like flowers.
Related: There is almost every garden center or hardware store or on the Internet (for example, www.falle.de/versandpreisliste, plantarara.com). Cost about 5 euros.
Culture: Should stand bright. Watering should be done in the damming process (i.e., the flower pot should stand in a planter or saucer, where there is always some water). Do not fertilize.
