Fighting silverfish - a few tips

Frequent ventilation and keeping dry the endangered rooms - in cold and dry conditions, no propagation is possible.
Natural fragrances such as lemon and lavender oil dribbles it away.
Often pour boiling water into the bathtub and sink spout? or close them overnight.

The only natural enemy is the earwig. Because we do not necessarily like to house it in our apartment, we have to do it differently:

Offer a grated potato on a piece of paper: the fish crawl underneath and can be disposed of in the morning with their meal.
Place a gypsum-sprinkled, damp, white cotton towel in the bathroom - below which the little fish gather and you can shake them out the next day.
Sprinkle a 1: 1 mixture of sugar and borax (or baking soda) into the cracks: The sugar is the bait and borax swells up in moisture - the room is guaranteed to be spared for years.
Bowels of sal ammonia water drive off the invaders within 24 hours.
Use of insecticides: sprays, bait boxes, pest dust and sticky traps.
