Fill hot water bottle properly
If you still use a hot water bottle, it should always be filled properly. Especially with small children, it must not be too heavy!
This works as follows:
Half fold the hot water bottle and hold it in place. Add hot water from the faucet (never pour boiling water into it, and when the bottle is full, tighten the nubble (closure).) Now wrap a towel around-ready.
So you can not scald yourself by rising, hot water (as often happens when you try to push the air out), it's not too much in and it's not too heavy for little kids.
