Only vile boiled potatoes as a side dish are sometimes boring for me. Fill in triplets, that would be something. After a few trial runs, these two recipe variants came out at the end.

Triplets are baked in the oven at a high temperature and very tasty. They are a real taste buddy when added to vegetable dishes. However, you need to hollow out the mini potatoes the right tool. My first attempt to hollow out a treble was made with an oversized apple corer (2.2 cm). There was not much left of the potato. In my drawer I still had an apple corer, which is not quite as good for apples, but it worked better with triplets. The small diameter of 1.7 cm had annoying me when removing apples so far, because you had to stab several times through the apple until you had the core outside. But this smaller diameter makes this stoner the best tool for filling triplets.

The hole is drilled lengthwise with a hole in the treble. If you like, you can halve the drilled remainder and use it to close the filled potato. The pierced treble is filled with a slice of bacon, a shrimp and a small piece of garlic. If you like, you can add some rosemary, thyme or sage. When combining shrimp and sage, only a small fine strip of sage should be used. Otherwise you will not taste the shrimp out of sheer sage. If you like sage and have the fish a bit stronger, you can alternatively fill with shrimp the potato with bacon, anchovy fillets with some sage.

For the filling stuff the bacon with the help of a chopstick or the handle of a teaspoon through the triplicum, so that it sticks out in front and behind. Additionally or alternatively, the small potatoes may also be filled with bacon, dates and walnut. Again, first pull the ham through the tuber, halve dates and fill with a small piece of walnut. Then put a filled date on the right and left in the treble. Put the filled triplets in an ovenproof dish, pour in three tablespoons of olive oil and turn them over until completely covered with oil. Season with sea salt and pepper and bake on the middle rail in the oven at 220 ° C circulating air for about 15-20 minutes.
