Find a car out fast
To find out the year of manufacture of your car, look at the car window. There is a small digit there. Sometimes there are hyphens in front of or behind it. The number is the last number of the year of construction.
One should know approximately in which decade the car was built. For example, on our car, the VW Passat 3B has a very small 9 in the disc. Something like this: ----- 9
That means the car was built in 1999. In 1989 and 2009, one can exclude simply by estimate. It is quite interesting to see how far the first registration differs from the date of manufacture.
