Find runaway pets faster - for free
Happens very fast, the sweet babe escapes through the window and the beloved dog gets lost on a walk. Both can not be found after a long search.
Desperate family and want to know their darlings as soon as possible in their own home.
We have our dog and later our cat at TASSO e. V. register. However, this requires that the pets are chipped, which I can only advise every pet owner. This is done at the vet and is also associated with costs.
At TASSO e. V. the number of the chip, the relevant animal and necessary personal data is entered to the owner online. The pet owner will shortly receive a confirmation from TASSO e. V. and a pet passport for the corresponding animal.
Should the dog or cat run away, the owner may contact TASSO e.V. to inquire about whether the animal was found by anyone or, conversely, that a finder contacts TASSO to see who owns the find animal. However, the finder must visit a veterinarian, so that the chip can be read and a message to TASSO. If the pet is not chipped or TASSO e. V., it may be difficult to reunite owners and "escaped".
I do not want to see this post misunderstood as promoting the club. For us it is simply a measure that can certainly lead to a faster result in an emergency. Every year, the association receives a small donation from us for their work, which I personally consider very important and meaningful.
