  • 10 eggs
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • 375 g of hazelnuts
  • 350 g of sugar

preparation

  1. Separate eggs.
  2. Beat egg yolk with vanilla sugar and sugar. (15 minutes!)
  3. Stir in the hazelnuts of the yolk sugar mass.
  4. Beat egg whites with egg whites.
  5. Add the egg whites to the hazelnut mixture.
  6. Bake the cake at 180-200 ° C for about 1 hour. The baking time varies depending on the oven, for me, the cake is often ready after 45 minutes.
  7. If the cake gets dark, but after the chopstick sample still has a lot of dough, simply cover with baking paper.
  8. It would also be advisable to place a baking paper under the springform pan, as the cake sometimes drips slightly when baking.
  9. As a casting is a powdered icing with about 1/2 vial Rumaroma. As a decoration you can then draw chocolate strips on it with chocolate coating.
  10. The cake can be, if you put it in a cake transporter, pick up a good 1 week and goes great with wine, coffee or tea!
