- 1 glass / tetrapack finished pasta sauce
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large cup of TK peas
- 100 g of grated cheese (for example Gouda)
- Nutmeg, salt, pepper
preparation
- The fish fingers are baked on baking paper in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 5 minutes on each side.
- In the meantime, finely chop the onion and fry in oil until translucent. Add frozen peas, heat briefly, then
- Add the glass of pasta sauce and bring to a boil.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper; I like it a bit sharper with a few splashes Tabasco.
- Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the instructions and place in a casserole dish. Then the tomato sauce with the
- Vegetables are distributed, the fish fingers come on top and are sprinkled with grated cheese.
- Since everything has already been completed, it is enough to use the still warm oven to melt the cheese. I prepare the casserole mostly in the morning, so we can eat it in the early evening and then give it only 5 minutes in the microwave until the cheese is melted and the rest is heated enough.
A meal that children certainly like and is also extremely cheap: Per person about 1 Euro!
I like to prepare a green mixed salad for this dish.
Of course, the sauce and puree can also be freshly made; Here I was primarily to cheap and fast.
