Flea market rip-off - how to resist as a seller

Sometimes I despair of life. I think people who can not defend themselves are always shitty. For example, at the flea market and I as a seller.

I often fall for a method. That's the Volume discount on already down-traded goods. There comes a solid, nice couple. Both are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to act. You always buy several things! Every single part is trading them down. Finally, these nice people smile and ask if they get a volume discount. And most of the time they get him, because they are so nice ... Now they have double profits and say goodbye. And I donkey make a stupid face.

Then there are the outrageous buyerpointing with finger outstretched at my beautiful old hanging lamp. What does it cost? They are rude, make the goods bad and laugh sarcastically, if you call a good price. "At the booth over there, that costs half the price !? This is a provocation - as a seller you can not go into it. I've got the habit of saying, "I'm proud of my goods and the prices I choose." I do not say more.

My tips against rip-off

  • Do not pack the valuable goods in the first 2 hours!
  • No volume discount, if already been down-traded!
  • Do not let the goods do bad!
  • Never respond to insults - always stay friendly!
  • Always keep calm - even at a show with specialist knowledge!
