Baking delicious Florentine:

ingredients

  • 200 g almond flakes
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 ml of liquid cream
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • Chocolate of choice to decorate

preparation

  1. Boil the honey with butter and cream in a saucepan until the mixture turns golden brown, stirring frequently. Then stir in the flour (carefully so that it does not clump), then the almonds.
  2. Distribute this mass either as small piles on the baking sheet (by far, the Florentines like to diverge) or simply stroke the tin as a whole (can be cooled or cut into pieces after baking).
  3. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown on top.
  4. Let cool (the Florentines are still soft after baking) and then decorate with melted chocolate as desired.
