Fly on potting soil and indoor plants
Recently, I have had heavy infestations of small flies called mourning flies. I read a lot of tips here, but it did not help.
I solved the problem like this:
- First, I sprayed the surface of the potting soil with Kodan (disinfectant), which has already killed several flies.
- Then I dug the soil over and over with a spoon, always keeping the vacuum cleaner in place.
- I did the whole thing just under 10 hours ago and can not do any fly see more.
- I've heard that larvae are in flower soil, so I'll just repeat that in the next few days.
- Oh, and of course let the potting dry well!
