Whether it's a performance date, a customer meeting, a lecture or a business lunch, sometimes you're on your way with your small luggage or on the train and need a (further) clean and ironed shirt or blouse on the spot. How do you do that without much effort and discretion?
For this purpose, I use folders made of cardboard or plastic, which fit well into the briefcase or bag. In it the shirt is well protected on the way. If you have to take something out of your briefcase during the journey or at the appointment, it is not noticeable that there are also change of linen between the files.
One can like to fold the shirt as suggested in tip shirt or blouse for suitcase and closet folding. It is only important that you fold it in the box or on the open folder so that it gets the right amount. The document folder must be so large that shirt or blouse is loose in it. Otherwise there are unwanted wrinkles.
In the picture I took a transparent red booklet, so you can see it better. In case of emergency, I take an opaque, unobtrusive folder. So that I do not accidentally, but the wrong folder at the business appointment and open, I make a label to it that reminds me of my home address, so for example. my zip code.
For traveling with larger luggage, I have lifted a flat gift box for shirts. Depending on the size, even up to three shirts / blouses fit in, which will not be crushed in the suitcase.
