Free garden and balcony plants

As a garden lover, who has to turn around every euro three times, I've discovered a way to get beautiful plants for free: I just look at the cemetery more often - no, not at the graves, but at the huge compost heap right at the entrance ( there are, as far as I can see, at every cemetery in the country, so probably everywhere).

Many people apparently tear out perennial plants as soon as they have withered or if they proliferate too much: tulips, hyacinths and daffodils, primroses, bearskin grass, horned violets, heather, roses and azaleas are happy that they can continue to grow unchecked with me ... (The azaleas had roots that were so thick that I could not heave them on my bike, so on Whit Monday, at 6 o'clock in the morning, I pointed them out inconspicuously with the wheelbarrow).

In September / October, the geraniums are traditionally disposed of from the graves - they then spend the winter in the laundry room, wrapped dry in newspaper. From February I let them drumming in pots indoors and plant them outside at the beginning of May.

In addition, there are garden owners who, instead of creating and maintaining their own compost heap, simply bring their garden waste into the forest ... Here, too, I've found wonderful plants between foliage and grass clippings: irises, tradeskants, Liatris and Indian armchairs. ,
