Freeze fruits for sangria / punch before the party

Sangria or punch is mostly drunk in the summer and there it is (with luck) very hot. This brings problems with the cooling of the drinks.

Since it is in the fridge ever tight when in addition to salads, meat and sauces also juices, coke, water, beer, sangria and / or punch must be cooled.

Cooling all drinks would blow up any capacity. In addition, sangria and punch are usually prepared and prepared in a large bulbous container that does not fit in the fridge anyway.


At my last party, I solved the problem as follows:

Two days before the party, I put sangria and punch in the evening and let it rest for 24 hours.

The next evening, I poured the fruit into a pet bottle and froze it.

The liquid I have also filled in empty bottles and stored in the refrigerator.

On the evening of the party, everything came together again in the Bowlegefäß and was very cold for a long time and also much later cooled to enjoy.

The bottle contents were not completely frozen in the freezer after 24 hours, so I could fill it by pressing and squeezing the bottle well into the Bowlegefäß.
