Freeze sausage / ham / cheese from discount store

If male / female, as I live as a single and wants / must save, you can buy the packaged sausage / ham / cheese portions from the discounter despite the size (200 g or more):

Simply unpack, halve the portion and wrap in cling film, then freeze one half (along with other sorts) in a freezer bag or plastic tray with lid. As a further advantage, there is more variety on the table.

I have been doing so for a long time with salami, pork sausage, liver and black pudding, raw and cooked ham, pork and turkey roast slices, as well as cheese slices and pieces (for example Gouda, Emmentaler).

With soft cheese (Brie, Camembert) I have not tried it, but since the portions are usually not so big.

Another tip: Boiled ham, I wrap in aluminum foil instead of cling film, as the meat juice otherwise runs out.

Let it taste, long live the variety!
