Fried small cuttlefish with fried vegetables

Very quickly you have conjured up a delicious summer dinner, which tastes very much like a holiday on the Mediterranean.

  • You need small squid tubes, 4 pieces per person and different vegetables.

With me there were:

  • Red pepper
  • eggplant slices
  • zucchini slices
  • such as breadcrumbs, pepper and salt, olive oil and lemon - that's all

That is how it goes:


The tubes are dipped in a pot of boiling water for one minute and removed with a slotted spoon. This kills possibly germs. Then it is dried, salted and peppered and lightly sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Do not bread, just sprinkle!

Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté from both sides for about three minutes. Longer - and you have chewing gum.

The vegetables are cut into bite-sized pieces and slices and fried in another pan, also in olive oil, salted and peppered.

Serve with lemon wedges.
