Fruit and salad does not oxidize

So salad and fruit do not oxidize: Since I like to give fruit to my children and my husband for breakfast, I have tried the painting:

I peeled apples with a porcelain knife, cut them into slices and put them in the breakfast boxes. All my loved ones were thrilled, because the apple slices looked after hours still appetizing. The apples are not oxidized. Of course you do not need to peel every apple, but cut for breakfast, like mine rather than an apple from the hand.

A few days later, I tried the tip with iceberg lettuce and came to the same result. The steak of the salad did not discolor even after hours. Since the amount of salad was larger than we needed for our food, I kept the cut remainder in a Tupperbox in the fridge for 3 days and also this has not discolored.
