Fruit quark with a difference
As I often (because of a small budget) run out of yoghurts and quark with fruit flavor I resort to an easy method in an emergency and make myself a quark "with taste".
For this I take ordinary quark nature. Whether half fat or not is up to you.
To make the quark a bit creamier, I always add a splash of sparkling mineral water. The carbon dioxide makes the quark creamy like yoghurt.
If you want, you can add a small shot of mineral water and a dash of cream. So it is also milder in taste.
Now I give depending on the taste and quantity 1 to 3 tablespoons jam or 1.5 to 2 tablespoons syrup in the quark and mix everything well.
Quark with honey also tastes good.
So you can make yourself a quark "with taste".
Since there are delicious and sugar-free (no added sugar) syrups, you can spice up any natural yogurt or quark.
I personally like the syrup apple-herbs and raspberry best.
Made with jam, a cottage cheese with "Hiffenmark" tastes very good.
Hiffenmark is a Frankish name for rosehip jam. Really delicious in yogurt or quark. It does not always have everything on the bread.
