Garlic brandy for colds
Peel 1 whole garlic (whole tuber) and squeeze with the garlic press. Very finely chopped is also possible. Put the pressed garlic in a 1 liter glass bottle with a clip and fill up with a tasteless schnapps like cherry. Close the bottle and place it on the windowsill.
The whole thing is now with shaking occasionally 3 months in the sun. Then sift the schnapps through a coffee filter and put the clarified schnapps back into the washed-out bottle.
Every morning 1 tablespoon of garlic brandy in the empty stomach ... and you always stay "almost" healthy. Tastes awful, but is awesome.
I take the schnapps for the 6th year now and never had a cold or was sick except for a runny nose. The recipe I have from an old man in our nursing home. This was very healthy until old age.
