For those who are scared of vampires or just like garlic, this garlic cream soup tastes very good and does not require much effort.

ingredients

  • Cut 1 large onion into small pieces
  • Cut 10 cloves of garlic into small pieces
  • 750 ml vegetable soup (soup cubes are OK)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 1 cup (250 ml) sweet cream
  • Salt, white pepper to taste
  • ?old one? Bread or pastries cut into small cubes and fried in a little fat - can be used as an insert

preparation

  1. Lightly brown the onion and garlic in the fat.
  2. Stir in the flour and lightly roast.
  3. Add the soup and cream, bring to the boil.
  4. Purée with the blender and cook briefly until the soup is slightly creamy.
  5. Now season with salt and white pepper.
  6. Stir in the chives briefly and serve with the roasted pastry cubes.
