For those who are scared of vampires or just like garlic, this garlic cream soup tastes very good and does not require much effort.
ingredients
- Cut 1 large onion into small pieces
- Cut 10 cloves of garlic into small pieces
- 750 ml vegetable soup (soup cubes are OK)
- 2 tablespoons butter or oil
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- 1 cup (250 ml) sweet cream
- Salt, white pepper to taste
- ?old one? Bread or pastries cut into small cubes and fried in a little fat - can be used as an insert
preparation
- Lightly brown the onion and garlic in the fat.
- Stir in the flour and lightly roast.
- Add the soup and cream, bring to the boil.
- Purée with the blender and cook briefly until the soup is slightly creamy.
- Now season with salt and white pepper.
- Stir in the chives briefly and serve with the roasted pastry cubes.
