Gift Idea: Happiness in the glass

My godmother had her birthday and as always she wanted "nothing". But completely empty-handed I did not find that great either. So brooding, brooding - and then came the idea. I give her happiness in the glass! So quickly rummaged through books and the Internet for great sayings on happiness and 51 (since she turned 51) narrow pieces of paper with the sayings / poems described - by hand of course.

Roll up the paper and fix it. I've made it my transparent little rubber, but also goes with straws. In the rubbers I have clamped small wooden trees.

Fill all the rolls into a glass and then add the matching lid to the glass and you're done.

My godmother was very happy! :)
