Good wholesome bruschetta with garlic, onions and tomatoes

Tomatoes, garlic and onions taste delicious, but are unfortunately difficult for some to digest. This tip shows how to make wholesome bruschetta very fast: the tomatoes are skinned, blanched garlic and onions.

ingredients

  • 6 slices of toasted bread
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1-2 spring onions or other fresh green herbs
  • Salt, herbs, pepper
  • olive oil
  • possibly lemon juice
  • hot water from the kettle

preparation

  1. Wash the tomatoes and cut the bowl crosswise as if you wanted to quarter it.
  2. Chop the garlic and onions into small pieces and place in a cup, where you can also add a tomato.
  3. Fill the cup with boiling water so that the tomato is just covered.
  4. First fish out the tomato, treat the second and third tomatoes to a dip, then you can easily peel off the skin.
  5. To dice tomatoes.
  6. Drain garlic and onion water through a sieve.
  7. Mix the tomato, garlic and onion cubes, season with olive oil, herbs and spices.
  8. Toast toast and cut into triangles.
  9. The tomato-garlic-onion mixture you make it just before serving on it, then the bread stays crispy.

So you can enjoy onions and garlic, without spending hours having the annoying onion taste in your mouth or pinching the garlic in your stomach. You will also be spared the hard-to-digest tomato skin. Bruschetta's always with us as an appetizer for barbecues.
