Grandma recipe: cucumber spaetzle

Time

Preparation time: 15 min.

This is an ancient great-grandma recipe. I've always done it when I sat with my 4 children long at the doctor and it had to go fast with the food. Preparation time for the cucumber spaetzle is 15 minutes.

preparation

First put on salt water for the spaetzle (no noodles, but the round noodles cook too much and become slippery). When the water boils, put in the spaetzle.

Now dice the onions (as much as you like), add bacon cubes (or salami cubes) and sauté (do not fry just until the onions are glassy). Take a big pot for that.

Then take the pot from the plate, 2 cups of sour cream (with yogurt does not taste ...) (no more cooking, otherwise it coagulates), 2 green salad cucumbers (peeled) in pens in the cream sauce planing. With cucumber slices it does not taste so crisp. Some smoked salt flavor to it or normal salt.

Drain the finished spaetzle and pour it into the cucumber creamy pot. The heat of the spaetzle is enough.

Really make a big pot, because you can not stop eating ... Also tastes warmed up.
