After processing the whole thing to jam in recent years was not the satisfactory result, I have now tried the following recipe and this year she has become super delicious. Have probably always taken too much sugar and then I was always too sweet and the taste too intense.

It is a red organic carrier grape which is called? Isabella? gives. The need not be injected. Who knows her, knows that she has a very intense taste of strawberry and raspberry, which takes a bit of getting used to. But it has a nice red color and lots of sugar by nature.

ingredients

  • 1200 grams of grapes are finished, then the result is about 1 kg of fruit pulp
  • the juice and some peel of one or two untreated oranges
  • 500 g of boiled sugar 1: 2 or 1: 3. Do not take that with 1: 1, that will be far too sweet.

  • rum

preparation

  1. Put the ripened grapes in a saucepan and crush with a potato masher.
  2. The grape musm without Boil sugar, the whole thing has adopted this beautiful red color, which is in the cup.
  3. Now pass through a sieve and then boil with the gelling sugar, orange juice and small-cut orange peel, as well as cinnamon and citric acid to recipe.

The addition of orange juice and citric acid (lemon juice can also be taken as an option) makes this otherwise intense-tasting jam taste super-fruity, sour and gelled.
