Gratin gyros in Metaxas sauce with cheese

Two years ago, I ate gyros in Metaxasoße at the Greek and loved it. Since then I searched for the recipe.
On the Internet, I never found the "right" as my Greek prepared and I could not ask because he has done at once.
So I have made me one of four different recipes from the Internet DAS a zusammengestastelt and it tastes just as good as the Greek:
ingredients
- Approximately 250g of pork (I always take schnitzel, as it is easier to cut, you can also take sliced meat)
- Gyros spice (I take the meat and Gyros Würzer from Ostmann)
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 cup sour cream or sour cream 200 g

- Approximately 1 shot glass Metaxa
- 50 - 100 g grated Gouda to taste
preparation
- Cut the pork into strips, cut the onion into small pieces, cut the peppers into strips.
- Spread meat with onion and pepper in a pan and sprinkle with meat and gyros seasoning (more or less depending on taste).
- Fry the whole and then distribute in a prepared baking dish about 25x15 cm.
- Add the sour cream to the empty pan, season with a little broth and cook briefly with the Metaxa; Do not forget to stir.
- Spread the whole on the gyros meat with Gouda and sprinkle in the 220 ° C preheated oven for about 10 minutes and gratinate.
Serve immediately, with bread, chips and salad.
