Great ironing result with the steam ironing station of Philips GC8711 / 20

If you are looking for a great ironing result and do not want to pre-sort constantly, consider buying a Philips steam ironing station. I was lucky enough to be able to take part in a product test and get to know the PerfectCare Performer steam ironing station from Philips GC8711 / 20.

At first, I was really skeptical of whether the station would really do a good job and not burn all the clothes by setting the right temperature on its own, but I was taught otherwise. In my subsequent product test summary you can get a picture of yourself ...

I've been testing the station's Philips GC8711 / 20 PerfectCare Performer Steam Iron Station for some time now and I have to say that it has largely convinced me.

I really like the design of the station. It comes fully assembled and is therefore ready to use. To use the station you just have to fill the water tank and wait for 2 minutes for a signal indicating that the station is ready to start. I was very surprised that the heating really worked so fast, and I got down to business right away.

I especially liked that laundry does not have to be pre-sorted. With my old iron this has been absolutely impossible. All the parts that I ironed with the new steam ironing station were then very well smoothed in my eyes. But I think that the iron works well when using the steam function. If I did not use the steam function, I was not very happy with the results. The iron slides very well over the fabric due to the SteamGlide Plus soleplate.

The water tank can be filled well, although you have to make sure that you hold it diagonally in front of the tap. The insertion of the water tank, I took a bit of getting used to and had some problems with it at the beginning. It has become very good in the meantime. It is also good that you can refill the water tank while using.

Another plus is that the iron automatically turns off and you can easily leave it on the ironing board or clothes, without this burns.

In terms of the station as a whole is still positive that the iron can be locked. You can transport the station after snapping very easily. The device is basically a bit too big for me because I could not turn it off on my ironing board.

I also give a minus for the weight of the iron. This seems a bit too heavy despite the good conductivity. The pressing of the button to use the iron I think also not so good and with time exhausting.

But I think to summarize that the device does a good job and is therefore recommended.
