Green beans with corned beef

Unfortunately, there is not yet the time to harvest Fisolen / green beans from the garden, but I still feel like preparing a dish with this vegetable. For this dish I have? The wide, flat Fisoles? used - of course, are the? normal round runner beans? suitable.
Furthermore, I have used corned beef, because that gives an incomparable fine taste! Of course you can also use hack, but if possible, try corned beef.
ingredients
- 500 - 700 g of green beans cut into lozenges
- 1 can of corned beef cut into pieces
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 small onion finely chopped - not more, because the onion should not dominate, so that the fine taste of corned beef is not superimposed
- 2 go EL butter
The fat is not only needed as a flavor carrier, but also that the fish do not squeak when eating, if you know what I mean. Because prepared with little or no fat, squeak the fish actually between the teeth.
preparation
- Cook the green beans in salted sodium bicarbonate until firm. (The soda gives or receives the beautiful, green color, as shown in my photo). Cooking time about 8 minutes.
- Quench immediately cold (so that the fish do not continue to cook in the heat / steam) and set aside.
- In the meantime, you can roast the onion brightly and lightly toast with the corned beef.
- Then the fish are added, seasoned with salt and pepper and heated.
- I serve parsley potatoes.
