Green beans with corned beef

Unfortunately, there is not yet the time to harvest Fisolen / green beans from the garden, but I still feel like preparing a dish with this vegetable. For this dish I have? The wide, flat Fisoles? used - of course, are the? normal round runner beans? suitable.

Furthermore, I have used corned beef, because that gives an incomparable fine taste! Of course you can also use hack, but if possible, try corned beef.

ingredients

  • 500 - 700 g of green beans cut into lozenges
  • 1 can of corned beef cut into pieces
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 small onion finely chopped - not more, because the onion should not dominate, so that the fine taste of corned beef is not superimposed
  • 2 go EL butter

The fat is not only needed as a flavor carrier, but also that the fish do not squeak when eating, if you know what I mean. Because prepared with little or no fat, squeak the fish actually between the teeth.

preparation

  1. Cook the green beans in salted sodium bicarbonate until firm. (The soda gives or receives the beautiful, green color, as shown in my photo). Cooking time about 8 minutes.
  2. Quench immediately cold (so that the fish do not continue to cook in the heat / steam) and set aside.
  3. In the meantime, you can roast the onion brightly and lightly toast with the corned beef.
  4. Then the fish are added, seasoned with salt and pepper and heated.
  5. I serve parsley potatoes.
