Grind fresh ginger in an electric coffee grinder

If you need a lot of ground ginger for a recipe, such as Indian cuisine, a fruit cake or an exotic jam, then you can save yourself the tedious shelling and rubbing by hand.

If you still have an electric coffee grinder, the ginger gets there in seconds the desired consistency.

The ginger is washed well in hot water beforehand and any parts that do not look so nice are cut off. Then cut it into 1cm long pieces and grind them in the coffee grinder.

Of course, before that was thoroughly freed of coffee residues! The best rub with a paper towel soaked in oil thoroughly, then rub dry again.
