Gyros rice dish

ingredients
- about 500 g gyros (butcher, or even seasoned, then it is not fast)
- Vegetables of your choice (peppers, zucchini ... gladly leftovers)
- about 300 g of rice
- 2 - 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- Salt, pepper, paprika, thyme ...
preparation
- Fry the gyros in a large pan. Add the vegetables and fry.
- Stir in the tomato purée and rice and add liquid (water, broth, wine ...). Spice up.
- You need a lot of fluid, because the rice absorbs everything. Simply pour in between.
- The whole simmer for about 30 minutes (time to hang the laundry, etc. ...)
- Of course stir in between, and as I said, pour liquid (who likes, even a dash of cream).
If you like mushy rice, just let it simmer for a few minutes longer.
Tzatziki to it, mmh yummy!
Not only fast and tasty, also in the kitchen not much was used! Cutting board, knife, pan and a wooden spoon ... ergo quickly clean again! ;)
