Hammocks for rats
Since we have 6 rats, and they also want to have their rest from their siblings, we looked for hammocks for the cages. Since these are not grad cheap and in my opinion do not offer a proper stop for the animal, we regularly buy cheap tea towels (8-10 stk = 1Euro) we cut each 1 times in the middle, then be at the 4 corners per cloth We cut it and attach it to the top of the cage ... quiet a little bit tighter, the lyre depending on the amount and stress optimally.
Our rats love the hammocks and can not sleep without ... or just sleep in it ... (Houses should still not be removed from the cage), but it is recommended that the cage in the evening with a thin blanket a little so that the animals are not disturbed by light when they bum in the hammocks.
The tea towels or hammocks should be washed once a week, which actually understands itself.
