Hand over old pillows and blankets to the shelter
When buying new pillows, give the old ones - with pillowcase - a shelter for the cats.
If you buy new pillows for your bed, do not throw the old ones away! Cats and dogs in shelters are looking forward to a cuddly sleeping place - just ask at your local shelter. The same applies to old ceilings. Older animals like to have a blanket. Younger people, on the other hand, tend to tatter the pillows and blankets. But the animal shelters will be happy to provide information.
