Handy stain remover for on the go

Spotted in the canteen? Pommy sauce on clothes? Coffee to go on the shirt? Unfortunately, if you eat or drink on the way, the clothes often get something. Just stupid, that you do not necessarily have laundry detergent or stain removers on the way.

Here is a first aid tip for such accidents:

Your own saliva works wonders! Especially if the stain is still fresh.

Saliva contains digestive enzymes that can well decompose a stain of food. You always have saliva with you. Of course, you only have to swallow a few times to get your mouth empty and clean. One can stimulate the salivation by something salty or sour.

Then put some saliva on the stain and rub it with clean fingers or a clean handkerchief. If necessary, take an inconspicuous part of a garment such as a hem or inseam as a "brush". If possible, wash with water and hand soap.

If it's not too nasty for you: The tongue itself is also a good stain remover. :-P

At home, you can still treat the stain properly. A stain with this "emergency first aid" is inconspicuous as long as you're on the move and is easier to get out at home when doing the laundry.
