Hang pictures / shelves straight with 2 hooks

Who did not bring that to despair: To hang a picture / shelf with (invisible) hooks or holes.

All the years before, I first drilled a hole and then went to the measuring with the result: sometimes too high, too deep, too close, sometimes too far away. How many times have the inventors cursed the 2-hole / hook method!

It can be so easy:

Over the length of the picture, a strip of painters' tape is glued. The locations where the holes / hooks are are marked or pierced.

The strip is removed and glued to the spot on the wall where the picture is to hang. A spirit level is helpful.

The holes are drilled through the mark on the masking tape, the strip is removed from the wall, dowels and screws or nails are attached and the picture is hung: THE WAR`S!

The 4 photos show the individual steps.

This method is not only valid for pictures: also wall cabinets, shelves, showcases or similar. Of course, they can be easily attached in the same way.
