Hearty beer goulash

A hearty goulash variant that will not only be enjoyed by men.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pork goulash
- 1 big onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 carrots
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tsp hot mustard
- 400 ml of beer (if possible, strong or black beer)
- 200 ml vegetable broth
- Salt, pepper, paprika powder
- possibly sauce binder for thickening
- Sour cream or Creme fraiche Cheese
- Frying fat or oil
preparation
- Heat the fat and fry the meat in it vigorously and season.
- If the meat is well browned, add the chopped onion and the carrot and garlic, fry the tomato paste and mustard and fry briefly.
- Now deglaze with the beer and let it boil, fill up with the vegetable broth and simmer for about 40 minutes.
- Maybe thicken with sauce binder or a roux and with some sour cream or Refine Crème fraîche.
For this purpose, e.g. Spaetzle, potatoes, puree or dumplings.
