Help with insect bites

Again the best time of the year has come. Unfortunately also flies, mosquitoes and wasps.

Unfortunately I am allergic to all stings. Therefore, I have searched in old books for grandma's home remedies and found:

Rub the sting with an onion.

Or with freshly cut rhubarb stalk.

If available, also brush with egg whites.

And at home you can make an envelope of cornstarch or soda with vinegar lemon.

If everything does not help and e.g. Wasp stings strongly swell, e.g. in the hand, as the first rings and watch off, cool and off to the doctor.

He then gives me allergy pills.
