Herb butter recipe

A really extraordinary and tasty herb butter. Most of you have all the ingredients in the house as well.
Ingredients for 250 g
(The herbal quantities are in dried Consistency specified - in fresh must be measured to taste intensity.)
- 250 g butter
- 1 shallot finely diced
- 1 garlic clove (or more, for example) finely diced or pressed
- 4 sun-dried tomatoes in oil (finely chopped - best puree)
- 1 heaped TL Thyme
- 1 heaped TL oregano
- 1 heaped tsp basil
- 1 starred teaspoon paprika powder, sweet or spicy (nb)
- ½ tsp rosemary
- 2 tablespoons strong olive oil
- salt
- freshly ground pepper (not too fine)
- ½ chili pepper, dried / grated (n.B.)
- 2 tsp parsley
- some chives or the green of a spring onion (this fresh)
- Abrasion of half (organic) lemon and splashes of juice (1 tsp)
- 1 tbsp of cream fraiche or yoghurt (for spreadability)
preparation
- Remove butter from the fridge and let it soften.
- Soak all the dried herbs a little in olive oil so that they can develop their aroma.
- In the meantime, chop the shallot, tomatoes, the Knobi and the green of the spring onion and mix with the limescale or juice, Creme Fraiche.
- When the butter is soft, put everything together in a bowl and mix well, then season with salt and pepper.
- If you like, you can taste it with more chili, garlic or even other herbs such as a little dill, coriander or tarragon - depending on your taste.
I always make plenty of it, up to 1 kg, and then freeze it (including in ice cube forms).
Have years ago, a "basic recipe" found and modified it over time. Whether fondue, steak, barbecue or marinade (the butter then warm in oil and dissolve), I promise it just tastes awesome! Already know 20 people who wanted to have the herbal butter recipe immediately after tasting.
