Herpes - the combo makes it!

There is a lot to be found about herpes, but according to my family doctor, the combination of the different options is crucial.

1. If there are really really bad bubbles again: carefully (!) Pierce / scrape with a clean (!) Needle, absorb the escaping liquid with a tissue. Caution: in the liquid is the exciter, so danger of infection! Wash hands etc.

2. After piercing, first let the lip dry in the air or with the help of a hair dryer. The advantage of the hair dryer: the heat destroys the proteins contained in the liquid and thus also a part of the pathogen. (Not everyone can handle the hair dryer and it does not work for everyone - in any case, protect the rest of the lip with a greasy cream!)

3. After drying apply herpes cream (Zovirax etc.). The cream works only on the pathogens present in the blisters, so as soon as the dried out and start to heal, the cream has no meaning!

4. Better then change to tea tree oil or a mixture of tea tree oil and Vaseline. Disinfected and through the vaseline, the new skin remains much smoother and does not burst so quickly when, e.g. laughs heartily.

5. In between times, carefully dab the affected area carefully with a tissue and remove loosening encrustations and cremes (admittedly, I sometimes take the needle to help).

So, who knows, maybe it will help you too! For me, at least the course has slowed a little and above all, the process of healing begins so quickly (so the risk of infection is less large). I have just had a mega-attack behind me, looked like beaten for 5 days and bitten by wasps. Very charming!
