How to wash properly - basic tips for the washing machine
I work at Miele and have a few basic tips for you.
Which detergent?
Powder detergent contains bleach and is therefore very well suited for white laundry. In the case of colorful textiles, however, bleaching removes the color. But it is because of the bleaching of pefekte Schmutzlöser. So for strong stains once applicable even with colorful laundry.
The large packs appear quite cheap, but contain many fillers that are not so good for the textiles. For colorful accordingly liquid detergent.
FINGERS OFF BLACK DETERGENTS - They have the same composition as mild detergent. Therefore, the normal laundry is not properly clean and odors and bacteria remain in the textile.
Washing machines care
A must:
1 time per month a wash over 60 degrees and with powder detergent. With every wash, detergent, fabric softener settles somewhere else and form germs and a musty odor.
These are only properly washed away from 60 degrees. The best is even cooking linen. I always do that anyway with my dishcloths, because there all germs are supposed to die off.
